Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto, the elected president for the period of 2024-2029, urges voters, supporters, and volunteers of Prabowo-Gibran to prioritize the unity and solidarity of the Indonesian nation by not conducting mass actions in front of the Constitutional Court building (MK).
“I, Prabowo Subianto, earnestly request to the Indonesian people, especially the 96.2 million people who have chosen the Prabowo-Gibran pair, to not take any actions in front of the MK building or elsewhere to maintain the calmness of democracy, preserve the unity and integrity of the nation,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo stated that he understands the accusations made by others, but he urges all his supporters to remain calm and peaceful.
“We understand that the supporters of Prabowo-Gibran are truly disturbed and have quite emotional reactions, but we ask the supporters of the Prabowo-Gibran pair who have used their voting rights to always be cautious and careful, and not be provoked, especially by those who create an atmosphere that is not peaceful and calm,” said Prabowo.
By exercising restraint and not being reactive, according to Prabowo, does not mean being weak, but it prioritizes the interests of the people and the nation to maintain the unity and integrity of Indonesia.
“I emphasize once again, let us be calm, peaceful, exercise restraint, allow institutions to allow the judges of the Constitutional Court to carry out their noble duties with wisdom by always prioritizing the interests of the Indonesian people for the beloved Indonesian nation,” Prabowo concluded.
