Jakarta – Prabowo Subianto, the elected president for the period of 2024-2029, appreciates the hard work of the Golkar Party in fighting alongside the Prabowo-Gibran pair in the 2024 election contest.
According to Prabowo, the Golkar Party played an important role especially during the campaign period. Although Prabowo had not yet visited all regions.
“The role of the Golkar Party is very important, the hard work that I campaigned and I apologize for many regions that I have not visited. God willing, after this we will greet other regions,” Prabowo said.
Prabowo stated that in the future he will need ongoing cooperation with the Golkar Party to mutually support and remind each other to continue the leadership estate of the previous president.
“I ask the big Golkar family to continue together, we look forward to a bright future with full determination to help this country, we fill in what is not perfect, we increase efficiency, we must continue to fight corruption. We fight poverty with all the existing programs, we are very confident and optimistic,” said Prabowo.
Prabowo, who is also an alumnus of the Golkar Party, said he learned a lot from this party until he could establish and develop his own party, Gerindra.
